Netflix Just Quietly Dropped an AI Model That Can Erase Anything From a Video

Netflix just did something nobody expected: they released their first ever public AI model, and it's wild.

It's called VOID, which stands for Video Object and Interaction Deletion. And yes, it does exactly what it sounds like. It can remove any object or person from a video and fill in the gap like they were never there.

Think about that for a second. You film a scene with a coffee cup on the table that shouldn't be there? Gone. An extra walked through the background of your shot? Erased. The AI figures out what should be behind the deleted object and fills it in seamlessly.

Netflix dropped the model on Hugging Face, which is like the app store for AI models, making it completely free for anyone to download and use. The Reddit community went absolutely wild when the news broke, with the post racking up hundreds of comments in hours.
