Anthropic Just Released a List of Jobs AI Is Coming For, and It's Not Who You'd Expect

If you thought AI was only coming for factory workers and truck drivers, think again. Anthropic, the company behind the popular Claude AI, just dropped a bombshell study that maps out exactly which jobs are most at risk from artificial intelligence. And the results might surprise you.

The jobs at the top of the list? Administrative assistants, clerks, and a whole bunch of white-collar professions that most people assumed were safe. One of the most alarming findings is that entry-level software engineering jobs could be among the first to go. That's right. The very people building AI could be replaced by it. Anthropic's own chatbot, Claude, is already being used heavily for coding tasks.

Fortune called it a potential 'Great Recession for white-collar workers.' The workers most exposed tend to be older, female, more educated, and higher-paid. That flips the usual automation story completely on its head.
